Following the success of Stage 1, we’re excited to roll into the next phase of our upgrades—this time focusing on areas designed to enhance comfort and elevate your dining experience. Stage 2 will see a complete refresh of our male and female toilets, as well as a major upgrade to our bistro seating.

Get ready for booth seating and table service—part of a more relaxed, modern dining space created with our members in mind.

A New Era for the Blue Fin Bistro

We’re transforming your dining experience with a fresh new look and feel. As part of our bistro upgrade, you’ll be welcomed by a maître d’ desk on arrival, setting the tone for a more personalised experience.

Enjoy the comfort of new booth seating, soft chandelier lighting, and full table service—all designed to bring more ease and enjoyment to your visit.

We’re also introducing a new online booking system to make planning your meals simpler than ever, along with faster, more seamless service. It’s all about elevated comfort and convenience for our members.

Female Toilets Upgrade: Fresh, Functional and Thoughtfully Designed

Our upgraded female toilets are all about comfort and convenience. You’ll notice refreshed surroundings with new lighting and modern mirrors to brighten the space, plus a dedicated shelf for your handbag to keep things tidy while you freshen up.

We’re also installing hands-free soap dispensers and air dryers for a cleaner, more streamlined experience. It’s all part of creating a more pleasant, practical space for our members.

Male Toilets: A Smarter, More Private Space

Our upgraded male toilets are designed with privacy and practicality in mind. We’re introducing individual urinals, private sinks, and upgraded stalls to create a more comfortable, user-friendly environment.

These improvements are all about offering a cleaner, more convenient experience for our members, with a fresh new look to match.

Our Operational Plan

We’re committed to ensuring your experience at The Blue Fin is memorable, enjoyable, and welcoming at every turn. During the renovations, we’ll strive to maintain our exceptional service standards, with most operations relocated to other areas within the club to minimize disruption.

The following changes will be made to continue operations whilst renovations are ongoing:

Bistro Dining will relocate to overflow
Function capacity will be max 90 guests
Morning Melodies will be held in the Manta Ray Room
Functions toilets will be used while the bistro toilets are renovated
Sports Bar will be open as usual, best access is through Keno lounge

Bistro

While our bistro seating area is refreshed, Bistro dining will temporarily relocate to the overflow area. The kitchen will continue to operate as normal.

Cafe

Our café will continue to operate as usual during the bistro upgrades with only the dining area affected.

Toilets

Our toilets will be undergoing renovation soon. In the meantime, please use the function room toilets while work is in progress. We appreciate your understanding and patience during these improvements.

Sports Bar

The Sports Bar is open as usual, with the best access via the Keno Lounge during the renovation period.

Morning Melodies

Morning Melodies will continue to be held every second Monday of the month as usual, but will now take place in the Manta Ray Room.

Live Music

Live music will continue uninterrupted throughout the renovation period.

Poker

Poker will occur as usual every Tuesday & Sunday in the Overflow

Pool Tables

The pool tables remain open and operating as usual during renovations, including pool competitions.

Bingo

Our weekly Bingo sessions will go ahead as usual with minimal disruptions.

Gaming

Gaming will not be affected and our patrons can continue to enjoy those services as they normally would.

Keno

Our Keno lounge will still be open for guests to enjoy, however there may be some minimal noise disruptions during the construction period.

Functions

Any functions that have been booked will go ahead as planned. During the renovation period between July and September our Functions capacity is limited to 90 guests. We Will only be able to book the following rooms for private functions:

Black Marlin Room
Manta Ray Room
Training Rooms

Kids Play Area and Family Lounge

The Kids Play Area and Family Lounge is open as usual during renovations. For convenience, please use the function room toilets while work is underway in nearby areas.
