Coming Soon: Your New Club!

We are thrilled to announce that a bigger and better Blue Fin is just around the corner! Works for our major renovations will commence soon, and whilst there may be some changes around here, we will endeavour to keep our services operational so you can keep enjoying your club.

Blue Fin Fishing Club Renovations Timeline:

Family Lounge

Step into our newly crafted family lounge—a haven for both parents and children alike. With a fresh, contemporary design, the lounge offers seating for up to 50 people, creating an inviting space for families to gather and unwind. Indulge in delicious treats and casual dining options at our café, perfect for refueling after a day of fun. Choose from our full menu or enjoy one of the lighter options available from our café.

But the real highlight of the family lounge is the state-of-the-art play area, designed to ignite imaginations and keep little hands busy. Featuring a climbing gym, interactive activities, and plenty of space to run and play, it’s a paradise for our youngest members. Parents can relax knowing their children are safe and entertained, while they catch up with friends over a cup of coffee or simply enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.

Sports Bar

Prepare to be impressed by our revamped sports bar, where every detail has been carefully curated to enhance your viewing experience. With upgraded audiovisual equipment in the TAB area, you won’t miss a moment of the action, whether it’s the latest game or the day’s racing. Sink into plush, comfortable seating as you sip on your favorite beverage, surrounded by a vibrant ambiance that’s sure to elevate your visit.

The Sports Bar area will be increased, with a sleek new bar facing adding a touch of modern elegance to the space while also improving functionality for our bartenders and staff. Whether you’re here to watch the game, have a game of pool, enjoy a drink with friends, or simply soak in the atmosphere, our bar upgrades are sure to impress.

Bistro

Indulge your senses in our newly enhanced bistro, where every detail has been carefully considered to elevate your dining experience. Picture yourself sinking into our plush, cozy seating, enveloped by a welcoming ambiance that encourages you to savour our fresh food a little while longer. And with the tantalizing aroma of our rotisserie-style roaster filling the air, you’ll be eagerly anticipating each delicious bite.

But the enhancements don’t stop there. Our kitchen and bistro counter will undergo upgrades to improve efficiency, ensuring that your meals are served promptly. Meanwhile, our café offerings will be expanded to offer a variety of new and exciting options to tantalize your taste buds. With new LED menus guiding your culinary journey and a lighter, more spacious feel throughout, our bistro promises to be a feast for the senses.

Our Operational Plan


 

We’re committed to ensuring your experience at The Blue Fin is memorable, enjoyable, and welcoming at every turn. During the renovations, we’ll strive to maintain our exceptional service standards, with most operations relocated to other areas within the club to minimize disruption.

 

Bistro

Whilst the Bistro floor area will be reduced, our kitchen will still be operating as usual. While our bistro counter and pass get upgraded, our bistro counter and cafe will be moved forward slightly to within the current bistro area. This will allow us to still serve you while the construction of an even better bistro is underway.

Cafe

Our coffee machine and cake counter will be moved forward along with the bistro counter, therefore you will still be able to enjoy fresh coffee and cake as usual.

Sports Bar

The Sports bar area will be moved to the function bar. There may be minor changes to out drink offerings, but most of your favourite beverages will be available.

The big screen projector will be moved to the far wall of the overflow area, meaning you can still catch the game live and loud.

Live Music

Some changes will be made to our live music program. Bands on a Friday night will be scaled down to a soloist and moved to the Black Marlin Room to minimise disruption to our footy fans. Live music on a Sunday will be cancelled until we reopen. Our beloved Morning melodies shows are still going to occur on the second Monday of each month, however, will be held in the Black Marlin Room rather than the Manta Ray suite.

TAB

The TAB self serve terminals and info screens will be moved to the function bar along with the sports bar facilities. There will be 3 x 65 inch TVs relocated to the overflow area to show SKY sports.

Poker

Poker will occur as usual every Tuesday in the Overflow

Pool

The Pool tables will be moved to the bistro overflow area, where the dance floor is currently.

Bingo

Our weekly Bingo sessions will go ahead as usual with minimal disruptions.

Gaming

Gaming will not be affected and our patrons can continue to enjoy those services as they normally would. Please note however, that gaming food will be unavailable for a time

Keno

Our Keno lounge will still be open for guests to enjoy, however there may be some minimal noise disruptions during the construction period.

Functions

Any functions that have been booked will go ahead as planned. We have ensured that our construction team is able to have the areas of the club that are required ready to be open in time to coincide with any functions bookings.

Kids Room

Our Kids Room will be closed during our renovations while we work on bigger better facilities to serve local families.
