Why fish with Bluefin? Not only do you fish with likeminded and experienced anglers, there are also dozens of trophies and thousands of dollars prize money across all categories being A B and C grade as well as senior, veteran, ladies, junior and minors.

Estuary and Surf fish 16 trips a year, six of these are interclub competitions against other fishing clubs. Three of those are fished on Moreton Island using 4×4 vehicles with the other three from boats at either Jumpinpin or Broadwater areas. The remaining 10 trips are club trips fished overnight at various locations. Fishing starts at 3.00pm on Saturday afternoons, with weigh in held at Blue Fin Clubhouse carpark at 8.00 am Sunday mornings.

No fees are charged, but participants are required to provide their own bait and tackle.

Juniors ages 6 years and above are encouraged to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult.

The club has two boats available for hire to members on trips.
Boat license and suitable vehicle to tow is required. The cost of hiring a    boat is $50.00.
